I'm the quintessential queen of sorcery


I went back to StNicks on Friday, supposedly for cca orientation. Well, I met FENG, NANA, BAO, JO, HIL ! ((: and when theres Na, theres cards (and make that plastic, waterproof high class cards) so we ended up in the canteen playing bridge. I really feel like a squad get together, the 22 (ok, most probably not 22) of us eating the students meal at Jack's place and singing if we hold on together complete with the together sway.


And then there was the ODAC camp. I think we were The Elevens. We were good ok! haha. Let see, there was ah chang (or is it ah tai), the nerd, eddy, xiao hua, clar, ah kai, ally, ah fen and ed ( no real names here cause Chang Tai claims that we shdnt call people by their real names at night). overall, it was cool and everything. And I was quite sad to skip the whole tracking thing. Oh yes, it was NOTHING like the stjohn-brand crap. I may be wierd, but I quite miss the 5-minutes-to-finish-up-10-pieces-of-hard-dry-biscuits and the if-you-didnt-bring-the-mug,-sign extra things.


Saturday, was NCO POC. And will I miss NCO. I love ORCA! (I'm still in the believe that ALL of you deserved to pass) I love the Instructors and committe! And so yes, aside from the extremely throw face screwed up period of MC-ing, I enjoyed POC through and through. (Sorry for keeping you on your toes the whole ceremoney ruo and xun!) It was fun and hetic and crazy. ST NICKS! We so rock! Ai wo ai wo shen ni ge la! haha. This year, we had the funnest and craziest and bestest batch I should think. (: With the high energy level and the chicken dance. haha. And CHEE KAI! Slacker head best inst cum CC! WOAH! And I shall poke Junwei in the stomach again next time. Oh yes, I went through Dhabs nco pictures already and I seriously look terrible. Gen and qiu! Nco 2005! ((:


And Today, I spent 5 hours on the prawl for new year clothes. It was fruitless. All I got was a $33 black teeshirt which looks exactly like the Giodano one. But it made my mum happy enough to release me home so I suppose its good enough for her. And history tutorial is total nonsense. Out of 10 people in my history class, only 3 know that sure a thing exists.

And how ironic, now I'm in the lousiest mood so far this year.


I think I make an average of 3 'friends' a day, but I hate these friendships of convenience that I'm forming now.


The distorted vision of everything around me is whirling and twirling more and more. I think its the cranky mood I'm currently in now, so I shallnt say something I know I'll regret.


ODAC was enlightening should I say? Absailing (meaning walking backwards down this wall) was great for me at least, I shallnt speak for the one belaying me. And rock climbing, WOAH! I totally made use of my left arm muscle! Something I haven done in like 4 years. ODAC could only be made better with the presence of POR! It just doesnt seem right this way. ):


And the ODAC camp sounds unfairly fun. It totally makes me feel like giving up the POC. But of course, this last time with ORCA and the insts and everyone issnt something that I wanna give up either.


I miss Christopher Michael Lee and Olinda Cho. I want to smack my palm against the wall. I'm dying to scream at the overhead bridge. I need serious crap to get back on track.

Today is a happy happy night, with white chicks under the stars. ((: haha. Yayy! I havent apperciated the stars in the longest longest while.


Erm, aside from the happiest night in the longest while, I'm actually pretty happy with everything right now. So I'm a blueberry, and so GP issnt really my ray of sunshine, but so what? I'm still cheerful about quite alot of other stuff. I'm even liking econs with my terrible teacher. (:


Oh yes, the food at NYPs pretty good! Jac, shannon, chengyao and me spent a happy afternoon gossiping at the Food Juntion there, yakking abt the acceleration and the engine and the other stuff that you dont really wanna know.

When my blue moon turns to gold again

I did 3.2 km today and I'm feeling much fitter than I was last week. My stomachs paining so its like the sit-ups cant be done anymore. And the laughing has got to subside cause it hurts. I'm not lousy, its just you dont really use your stomach muscles much when you are simply sitting there and growing fat, which is what I have been doing for the past many many months.

Got a bit syae(ie. cantanees or hokkien for drunk) today. Whinning aloud in trevor and throwing my face in maths and all that crap. Haha. Like what the hell lah.

Oh and there was soccer today! Haha, and Trevor played coach for a day. And please try not to laugh in my face, but I'm the captain for the female team lah. Like has any soccer team ever seen such an incompetent captain, I think not. But I'll try to do the best I can until someone overthrows me. And try not to laugh in this name. hahah.

I've been using pragmatic particles quite a bit. Yikes. Also, I've been quite into "Whats your problem?" too much to be considered wise. My english standard is seriously hitting rock bottom.

My AJ bottle is lost and unfound. And so is Daryls phone. ): Sad losties.

And after 4 years of not knowing that rabbit story knot (its a bowline knot to be exact) I am not fully educated in the pinings (however you spell it. It means campcraft by the way) department. ((: I'm totally confident of passing the camping and campcraft course. Ha! Finally! Thanks to my knots and lashing and fraping savious, Alvin! ODAC is hell fun. Bang your head on the wall if you missed it. Haha. No I'm kidding. I'm really hoping they lax the admin thing so that Por, WeiSheng and that funny Anglo girl can join.


And its Keng Siong, my Makka-mate's happy seventeen today, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY KENGSIONG! :D

MAKKA! (I'm sorry for the less than visible photo. Wait till I bug Beatty for a bigger and clearer one. ) Our Sentosa outing, though not a full turn up, was nevertheless fun. With daidee, bridge and beattys no. game, vollyball, football and captains ball on both land and sea, the swimming and covorting on the beach, and of course, the building of the tallest sandcastle ever (its all in the imagination). But we were all pretty sorry for weisheng cause due to some misfortune, we couldnt quite locate his missing glasses. :( But I really love my OG. Like really. They never fail to offer me a friendly face and make AJ a happier place! (Ooo! Rhyming couplet!) Except Kaiyang who deng-ed me yesterday for I dont know what. haha. I really am quite liking everything now. The happy familiar faces, the understandable lectures, the UNO during breaks, the lemon barlys, the bestest PD tutor, the quite nice classmates, the process of fitting in and yada yada. Breaking away will be hard, but lets leave the pain to later.

I love my Por as much as cotton candy, more than *ahem ahem*, and til the heavens burst and the words dont rhyme and til the day trevor stops asking us to sit in classes. (: Por! Being in AJ with me has given me such a blast, bringing me into your Taxali clique, hanging ard the hippest and collest Jubilee with the cheekopei uncle and of course, all the times we toileted together. There're be no other Por I can find to love to dearly, so fret not, your place is indead here to stay, regardless of that irritating misfit of the timetable. Heck, you know what makes you different from the rest of my new AJ pallies, (aside that you're my zie, and I've know your for ard my whole sec sch life, so you've got a pretty good headstart) is that I know no matter whether we're in the same class, CCA, taking the same subj, eating lunch together, sitting together, I know for sure that I'll not ebb away slowly. And just so you know, neither will you. I'm glad we have a few breaks here and there together, and a few trevor periods to share, and OH! Not forgetting the AJ Soccer team! ((: Yepp, and our great big cross country plans, zies outing and when I'm free, I'll definately pop by your place again, so that your mum can see if I've grown fatter or shorter. ): So yes, remember to invite me! haha. ORCA! ((: Had this group POC meeting today and both their slacker instructors were there! haha. Esplanade was invaded with SJ-ers today, and I must proudly announce that ORCA was the only grp ard who looked like we (rather, they) were doing something. Odec camp clashes badly with POC and I'll have to forgo the Odec seeing that I have to fulfil my MC responsibilities. )): The third week of school and I'm getting on Mr Lim's bad books already. Sheesh.

Its Saturaday! Like finally! And before I embark on my new timetable, which is like a 97% misfit from por's ): , I have an action packed weekend smiling at my face. Which means, I do not have time for work as usual. Haha. No I'm lying. I'm a nerd remember? And nerds ALWAYS have time for work.

Anyway, I'm in the AJ female soccer team! Yes, you can laugh. (: Yayy! Exciting eh! Training begins on Monday and Mr Mohan said to bring our boots. :D


I went for ODEC yesterday, which is seemingly a very promising CCA in the event that soccer kicks me out because I dont have boots.


Oh and my class, 38/05 is picking up. I'm not so sure about the S-island thing, but on the surface its not THAT bad. I mean, it could have been worst eh?


The people in JCs are so different from the plain simple and 2D people I have known all my life. Its wierd to see the different sort, especially so in the negative sense. And it no longer seems to be the norm to take things at face value. But on the brighter side, I suppose this IS life, and it may just turn out to be all esposing, different and exciting. So for now, I reserve comments. :)

I'm tired of feelin all around me animosity


I darent open my cupboard now for fear that eveything will spill out in an avalanche. I desperately need so me-time to think and get some me-things done. Lifes been this whoosh feeling since AJ. I cannot wait for the weekends. But wait, its a rather packed one, so I highly doubt its gonna be very me-ly.


And just so that you know - I'm actually keeping up with the AJ lectures! Like Woah! I've outdone myself eh.


Went ard CCA orientation with the Makka-ies. I'm too frigging tired to elaborate, lets just say it was just about as exciting as StNick's Assembly. I'm undecided between ODEC and Volly. And me and por signed for females soccer too. But lets face it, someone as freeloader as me has nothing to offer the ccas, so I wouldnt be surprised if they didnt give me the luxery of choice and threw me into the current affairs club. So the exciting story of the day is that I learnt international chess frm Javin and beat him subsequently. -cue applause.


I feel totally bad now. Yes, its because of the flu and bad throat, but its also cause of other crap - like the ps-ing of Por, Doreen, Che during the cca orientation, the forgetting of Kaiyang when signing up for OGF, the poor left behind YunLong and aiyah, I dont know lah. But its a freaking bad feeling. :(


One thing I seriously miss now is the feeling of being irreplacable. It used to be so with all the zies and squadmates and hopes and all that. Now I think I can probably go missing the whole day and the only people who wld notice is my PDG tutor and Por.


I cannot wait to see rina tomorrow. :D

And then the NCO POC meeting. I wonder why no one wants a cool mesh cap as a sovenier. haha. Ok lah, most prob it wont turn out to be cool, so maybe it isnt a bad thing after all. So the traditionally nonsensical D&D will pull through. And I dont think the instructors are planning anything so we might even end up with no music and I dont really wanna know. And yes, I SERIOUSLY think I'm a better photographer then Eddy. But apparently, the rest are on a sabo-van-mission so I'll try lah. TRY! Thankfully theres Buddy to brave the job with me. ((:

But when I'm way up here, its crystal clear


CCA orientation today was a far cry from the Orientations I used to know. The wet weather was probably the cause of the damp sprit. Or maybe it was just the dis-involvement. Whatever it was, the catching up with the missing pals was fantastic. My Aladdin partner and my primary bestie and my bestie and my secthrees and everyone. I seriously want stnicks back.


And I love every single one of the people I met today. Ok, maybe not. But you know who you are and everything. Yahh. Give me a call to catch up yah. ((: I'm a nerd in training and nerd in trainings dont tend to go out as much.


The officer interview was nonsense lah. Complete bull and just a Mr chua sharing session. To think I believed Eddy and actually planned what to say to him. Like he wld ever give me a chance to.


My OG grp convo is like moving at bullet speed. I'm sorry but I do not cope with bullet speed convos cause I'm probably doing something else as well. And in this case, blogging.

Sadly, Orientation has come to a close. But wierd enough, I'm definitely more happy than sad. Haha. Its sad to jet back to the books and the maths and leave the happy WAWA and the H20 game behind. But on the other hand, we are now happy bonded (Yes, this I can safely say), definitely looking ahead to be either OGFs, or the next Makka get together (Or both) and delightfully enthusiastic and less quiet and distant. So, yayyy!


Newspaper collection was pretty fun. My buddy Joanne seems pretty cool. The J2s all seem pretty cool and enthu and everything lah, with the sharing of m&ms, drinks, whatnots, phototaking session and all the other stuff that enthu people do. So anyway, Weida brought the box of Oreos and offered it round. Then I was super sad lah. I totally missed Eiz and her offering me the cream part of the Oreos. BESTIE YOU HEAR! I MISS YOU SUPER!


Lunch at pizza hut was pretty fullfilling. There was lame powder in the pizza I think so my whole gang of six ended up seiously lame and laughing at everything. And beatty lost dont know how many times at zhong ji mi ma and that mess of a sause was freaking gross I tell you. I know from first hand experience. And I really like cai quan-ing so challange me around and if you win (which you most probably will unless you're like really lousy like yewting) you get a mentos (if I have one that is). :))


The campfire itself was not a campfire, due to the showers of blessing that hit. Somehow, Alan managed to manipulate me into joining the Wawa campfire item. It was freaking lame lah, but considering it was a 10 mins before kinda thing, I suppose it was pretty good. ((: and two tumbs way WAY up to weisheng for his fantabulous acting of future. haha.


I LOVE MAKKA AND EVERYTHING. ORIENTATION HAS BEEN THE BESTEST BESTEST. :D


I kinda have loads to say, plenty of stories to tell and everything. I'll tell you when I do see you. Just ask. :D

Ok, breathe in. On a lighter note, orientation today was pretty cool. I'm totally feeling the AJCian sprit! Like totally! haha. The mass couple dance was fun and lunch was terrible and I think the president of the student council, Yi Xuan or something is cute. Yada yada yada.


Pardon the lack of enthusiasm, but right now, all I feel like doing is telling that someone how FREAKING RETARDED AND LAME AND BULLSHIT I think she is. And HOW I WOULD VERY MUCH RATHER SHE TOOK A ONE WAY TRIP OUT OF MY LIFE. RAH. I hope she reads this and knows I'm talking about her.

I'm even more greatly disgusted at Steve Kang now. After having the impression for 5 mths that I have gotten my Chief Com, now I find out otherwise. #$%^(_+ What the hell eh. At least I got the 5 points in the back and the 'honourable' tittle in my records. Well, to get the actual cert I'll simply apply again. Hurph. Damn him. He had years and months to process 1 KOTO cert and he couldnt even do it. So whatever him.

The countdown at xun’s house wasn’t much of a countdown, but still a hell loads of fun. ((: Thanks Loads XUN XUN MAM!


Caught up a little with Shuting, Weimin, Yiwen and Jess. Its only a year since they grad but it seems darn long ago. And I finally got to tell shu that she owed me a letter from 2 years ago. Ahaha. We both found it pretty amusing that I still remember. (:


Countdown was just a 5, 4, 3, 2 ,1 led by the birthday boy himself followed by a spontaneous round of Auld Lang Syne. And before we knew it, 2005 hit.


Marjonged! Finally after so freaking long! Haha. And cause Edmund was KO-ing and giving me all the tiles, I managed to win quite a fair deal. Woopdidoo! And then I successfully MOI laiyong, dhab and hidaiya on Bridge. ((: Even with the constant big distraction of a dropout hanging around.


And Fabian knows Indian Poker! Haha. Rina’s not the only one eh? And some beyond lame name game. So we played on the odds on wine and Absolute Vokda. It was super hilarious man, with the 2 of diamonds piaked onto faces. And I super threw face and all that crap. Rahhh. Thankfully, I wasn’t the only one who looked like a tomato, threw face, KOed and conked out on the floor of xuns FREEZING basement. Some CheeKai made it even worst then me. ((: And stupid Edmund found the warm cozy sofa which he decided to keep it all to himself.


A keng kai session of a breakfast with a barely passable ba chor mee was darn amusing. And I would like to think that Laiyong was joking when she said I’m the MC of POC. Like no way lah! Think I'll fall down even before I get to open my mouth.


Alan finally called today to update me on the AJ happenings. I'm in WAKONDA! and MAKKA! And for the thousandth time, I wonder what the rest of the year will be like. I wonder if I can find such awesome buddies that I have now. I wonder if I can adapt. And the insecurities and all that crap come floating out. St Nicks have been with me for so long, I have no idea what to do without it.Then again, if alls well and the people aren’t too bad, maybe a fresh start would be good. Haha. Its unlike me to be such a pessimist. But when I’ve been hoping and planning and already convince that CJ is the one for me, throwing me something else seems to totally blow me off course.


I wonder how much have we gone through together, and I assume most of them are because of me. With the huge gang of you not ard to save my ass, I swear I'm not gonna make it. Those who are nearer in my radius should know what I mean eh?


Anyway, I’ll still update my blog on my possibily bright new year ahead and I’ll hope you’ll do the same cause losing contact would be rather a pity. Sending the occasional mail, email, msg or whatever would sooth the kms apart. (:


From experience, resolutions are mearly goals you set to look back on them and go “DAMN IT”. So I’m off the crappy I will do this and I will do that list. However this year, I have great big plans to work and play hard. And the problem doesn’t lie in the playing part. (:


Today was this huge family gathering for grannys big 70. And I do miss the pack of us. With a Singapore-Idol-In-The-Making, A pilot to be, A computer specialist and a SIR Lee Zhi Jian around, of course it was pretty darn amusing. :D and then there was taitee, at a hefty price of $20. (Hey I wasnt that lousy, it was 50cent per card!) But what the hell, I have fun, with my handsomest cousin ard. Haha.


Back to calm myself before the vertigo of unfamiliarness hits. So far all I've done is bum ard and write a huge load of testimonials. Oh yes, I caught up with the missings, saw my Pri 6 class gathering photos (and I swear I'm totally gonna be there if theres a second one) and watched gens home videos (and got all jealous cause everyone had fun without me). So now, I'm all ready to hit AJ at 7 sharp tomorrow. (Yes, I've dyed my hair black, got the nerdiest haircut ever, cut my nails and bought nerdy black specs. I'm all set for nerdstown.) Wish me luck! Yes, I do want to say something about my 16 day long absence. Where do I start? A blow by blow account would bore your pants off you, so I guess a top 10 list will suffice.


The 10 Bestest parts of the States in no order of merit
1)The Overall good mood of everyone there. They’re all so happy and everything and they smile and wave bye even if you don’t get anything from their shops. How very unlike the shopkeepers of Singapore, who might glare at you even if you do buy something
2)Disneyland! Yea man! Enough said.
3)The cute Disneyland worker! Haha. Darn cute I tell you!
4)The cute guys! And I mean of the eye-candy variety! Haha. Seriously, they’re EVERYWHERE! And Pam! It was an Ashton Kutcher hair heaven! Haha
5)The little ones! The blond haired, blue eyes kiddies are the cutest cutest!
6)The toilet paper. I think theres a rule that if your toilet has no toilet paper, you’d get a fine of 1 million or something. Why else who EVERY single toilet be decked with toilet paper ( and toilet seat covers ) ?
7)The sizes. Clothes there come in huge size ranges and huge stocks, so theres sure to be the one you want. (: Por! It’s the best I tell you! Haha
8)The oh so helpful and darn friendly people over there.
9)The huge huge HUGE shops. They’re 100% generous with space there.
10)Hot choc! They’re hot chocs are the absolute best! Especially when taken on a freezing cold day.


5 not so good stuff about the states
1)The price. Everythings frigging ex there. M&Ms are like double the price and Soyabean drink are 14 times. Yes, they cost a whooping $7.
2)The freezing wind. And the temperature there is like 10degrees?
3)The lack of good and easily available Chinese food. Everywhere you turn its fries, burgers, and hotdogs.
4)The age limit on the Vegas night life
